All Mavericks tryouts are held at Friendship Park in Des Plaines, IL. We compete in the most competitive leagues in Chicagoland — and we're looking for players who want to compete with us. Ages 8U–14U.
Dates coming soon.
Tryout dates for next season will be posted here as soon as they're set. Questions in the meantime? Email info@mpmavericks.com.
A real tryout.
A warm welcome.
Tryouts run about two hours and cover hitting, fielding, throwing, base running, and (for older groups) pitching and catching. Bring your own bat, glove, helmet, and cleats. Wear pants if you have them.
Coaches evaluate every player individually — there are no pre-selected rosters. New players are evaluated alongside returning Mavs, and decisions are made by the coaching staff after the second tryout.
